Student Success Center
Boise State University’s College of Engineering continues to leave its mark in Idaho and around the world, with Bronco engineers taking up posts in some of the hottest firms on the globe and attracting major employers to the Gem State. That’s why we want to talk about the Student Success Center. Think of it as a career center tailored for engineers, complete with resources for soft skills development, resume-building, and career mapping. Behind it all are missions to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion to opportunities by expanding access; boosting retention and graduation rates by motivating individual students, and charting our students’ early-career success by helping each of them define and pursue their academic and professional goals. And you have a role to play. We’ve established scholarships attached to the Student Success Center in order to attract first-generation and underserved populations who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford an education and incentivize students to view their academic and professional careers as one and the same. We’re also raising money for stipends so that first-year students interacting with our programs can receive $100 to go toward their textbooks.
