Schlindwein Student Investment Fund
In COBE's Student Managed Investment Program, students invest over $300,000 in real money, providing them an unparalleled experiential learning opportunity. Tim Schlindwein was the founding donor to the program over 20 years ago and has pledged $60,000 in a dollar for dollar match to double the funds available in the Schlindwein Fund so students may receive an immersive hands-on investment experience in this unique and challenging class.
COBE Current Use Scholarship
COBE is graduating 15% more students now than just two years ago. More students mean that there are fewer scholarships to distribute and many of our business students depend on this help to remain in school. A gift to the COBE Current Use Scholarship Fund supports undergraduate and graduate students from all business majors. The College of Business and Economics strives to provide an exceptional business education to as many bright, hardworking students as possible — please help us to reward their efforts so they can stress about finals instead of financial aid.
COBE Career Services Fund
The Office of Career Services helps prepare all COBE students for life after college. Professional career advisors help with career planning, internship placement, and job readiness skills. They offer one-on-one consultations and group workshops for resume and cover letter writing, interviewing and networking skills, and LinkedIn profile and portfolio development. They host employers on-campus for hiring fairs, recruitment weeks and networking events so COBE students are placed in jobs that fit their passions and qualifications.
