Intermountain Bird Observatory Fund
If you've ever been involved in one of IBO's research projects, you know that our love of research, outreach, and conservation is what keeps us going. The joy of sharing our science in a hands-on way with anyone who will listen motivates us to continue our research and conservation efforts.
Whether it's staring into the eyes of a Northern Saw-whet Owl as a full moon rises over Lucky Peak, feeling the heartbeat of a diminutive but feisty Calliope Hummingbird, hearing the rush of wings as a Yellow Warbler leaves your hand at our Boise River project, or waiting in suspense for your favorite Long-billed Curlew to begin migration on our satellite tracking map, you've seen for yourself the excitement, wonder, and delight that birds bring. It's what fuels everything we do at IBO!
As Sir David Attenborough said so well, “No one will protect what they don't care about; and no one will care about what they have never experienced”. Help us continue to provide these experiences to you, your children, and our community so that we can protect and conserve the birds we all treasure.
